A retired Nurse’s Aide and a resident of Donaldsonville passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the age of 86. Visiting 5-7 PM, Friday, September 28, 2018 at Demby & Son Funeral Home, Donaldsonville. Visiting continues 9 AM on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Greater Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, 926 St. Patrick St., Donaldsonville until religious services at 11 AM, conducted by Rev, Timothy Campbell, Pastor. Interment in the Protestant cemetery. She is survived by two daughters; Audrey Howard Joshua and Janice (Larry) Howard, grandchildren; Darrell C. Howard, Sr., Terese (Kevin) Howard Jones, Wayne Howard, James W. Fisher, III, and Chiquita Fisher. She was preceded in death by her parents, Octavia and Milton Cayette, Sr. and a daughter Clara Howard Rudolph.Email obituary

Know that weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning. She will be missed by all whom cross her path. But, remember the legacy she left with you’ll the smiles, laughter & love. Sorry I couldn’t be with the family doing this difficult time. But, know that you’re in my thoughts and prayers always.

We loved her but God loved her best.keep your head up.she did her homework and passed every test.the lord will keep his arms around everyone of us.But he's holding his child just a little tighter.when the heart is grieving God comes near to bring his comfort,to catch every tear.And remember she's gone where we have to pray to get there.may t by e lord bless you.
